Paying for Investments

  • Will Jama keep my funds
No, Jama does not touch your funds. The funds required for the investment are securely transferred to the Mutual Fund via Indian Clearing Corporation Limited (ICCL). The payment gateway used is billdesk.
  • Which bank account will be used for fund transfer
When you place your first order, we request for your bank account information which is passed to BSE. At the time of fund transfer this bank account is used. If you add more than one bank then the first bank is usually chosen as it is marked as default bank account.

You are automatically redirected to the bank's netbanking page for making the transfer if you choose either "Direct" or "Nodal" payment.

  • I got "No Records Found". How do I place the order again?
If you run into issues and are not able complete your order, you can still repeat the order. In the "Pending" or "Under Processing" tabs, select the order and tap on "Repeat Order" to place another order with the same fund for the same amount. If the payment confirmation has been received for the order then you may not see the Repeat button.

Please note that the previous order may have been taken up for processing. If the order was not paid for, then any allotment will be reversed.
  • What are the payment modes for transfer
As of now the payment gateway supports, Netbanking, NEFT/RTGS for online transfer. You can also make an offline transfer by cheque.
  • I see "No Records Found" when I try to Transfer Funds
This happens sometimes to some orders when you have already made a previous attempt to transfer funds. For your security, only one attempt is allowed to transfer funds. In case funds are not transferred then you will see this message "No records found" when you try again.

The solution for this is to place a fresh order. You can tap on "Repeat Order" to place another order with the same fund for the same amount.

Please note that the previous order may have been taken up for processing. If the order was not paid for, then any allotment will be reversed.
  • How do I stop reminders for paying an order that I placed by mistake?
You can go to Pending or Under Processing tab and select the order and tap on "Remove". Note that this is possible only if you have not paid for an order.
  • What is a Direct bank and how is it different from a Nodal bank
A direct bank is one which supports immediate confirmation of the fund transfer. As of now BSE has this arrangement with six banks: Axis, Kotak, ICICI, SBI, Yes Bank.

With a nodal bank the payment acknowledgement takes 1-2 working days. If your order placed is less than2,00,000 (two lakh rupees) then it will still get processed. The condition is that if the funds are not transferred in time then the units allotment may be reversed.
  • How to link a second bank account
You can link upto five bank accounts. To do this, go to Settings or Me -> Bank Accounts and tap on "Add". This addition will be passed on to BSE within 30 minutes. In case of issues, please write to Customer Care.

During funds transfer, please make sure you select the Direct or Nodal entry in the drop down list.
  • I did not pay for an order. Why is still under processing?
The Mutual Fund assumes that you intend to make a payment and hence in good faith, picks up the order for processing anyway. Some investors may pay by cheque which takes a few days to reach the mutual fund's bank.

Please note that this is applicable only for orders less than Rs 2,00,000 value. If payment is not made in time then any units allotted will be reversed. You will not be able to redeem any such units meanwhile.
