Safety & Security

  • Is my money safe with Jama?
Your money is never touched by Jama, the investment related funds are transferred directly to the Mutual Fund. Even at the time of withdrawal the funds reach your account directly.

The fund selection and investment planning is done by SEBI Registered Advisors who have a fiduciary responsibility i.e., they cannot be paid by anyone else (who can influence them).
  • Is it secure?
Jama follows bank grade security and encryption for all information transfers. The application is protected by an encrypted password that cannot be read even by our system administrators.

Further we have a PIN to protect tha mobile app.

Any fund transfer that you do for making investments is done on your Bank's net banking platform which has a two factor authentication. Jama simply redirects to you to the bank for the fund transfer activity.

During withdrawal and redemption there is a second authentication requested. This is to prevent any unauthorised manipulation of your investment account.
  • How do I logout from the app?
Go to Settings > Logout to logout from the app. On the webapp you can click on the Profile icon (top right) and click on Logout.
  • Do you share my data with other banks?
No we do not share your personal data with other banks.
  • How do I set a PIN on the app?
On the mobile app, you can go to Settings > Security Settings > Safety Pin, and set the PIN. This helps ensure security after a period of inactivity, when you come back to the app.
  • I signed up from my mobile. How do I set my password?
On the mobile app, you can go to Settings > Security Settings > Set Password if you are doing this for the first time. Your password has to be strong enough to meet the guidelines given (avoid commonly used words, avoid referring to you name etc)
  • How do I reset my password?

  • I tried to login via OTP. Did not yet receive OTP
Please given the OTP a few more seconds to arrive. If it still does not come, then tap on "Request another OTP".

Alternatively if you have set a password, you can login with the password as well. If you still have issues please call our Help Desk at 906-914-1025 and write to us at help@jama.co.in
  • If I forget my password, how do I login?
In case you forget your password, you can tap on "Forgot Password'. You will be asked to enter your email to which the password will be emailed. Note that the email must be associated with a registered user in the system.

The email will have a secure link with it and clicking on it will take you to a page where you can set a new password.

If you are in a hurry and wish to quickly login, you can always login via OTP which sends a secure code to your registered mobile number.
